Bethenny Frankel is one of my most favorite reality show stars. 

I admit, I'm a reality show whore, and watch almost anything that's on,
especially if its on Bravo.

Bethenny is my favorite because she's so real. Seriously, some of the stuff that comes
out of her mouth I've either said, or been like "Omg I totally agree!"  I've read her books and think she's phenomenal. If you're serious about losing weight, read her books. They tell the real story of how to make losing weight happen by the small lifestyle changes that incorporate total weight loss.

Gold's Gym

I have told you all that I've been on a work out kick, not only to better my health but to get in shape and look oh-so-fabulous for my bestie's wedding in 67 days!! [seriously cannot believe its in 67 days.. time fliessss!]

I got a membership at my local Gold's Gym and am obsessed. Its a state of the art facility with a ton of stuff to do and people who are willing to help you get to your goals! I chose Gold's over other facilities because they have classes. I've taken 3 classes so far and have LOVED each of them! I've also had 2 training sessions and its nice having someone there kicking your butt and cheering you on!

Today, my trainer and I did intervals on an elliptical that best mimics running without going on the treadmill [ the name escapes my mind right now], did some squats, used some weights, and did kick boxing! Let me tell you, I am beat! Such a great work out and she gave me a lot of great tips for working out on my own, weather at home or at the gym. I feel amazing! There's nothing better than an awesome work out!

New Favorites!

I love make-up. I love finding new fabulous make-up that makes me thinks "how did I ever live without this?!" Reading all of your blogs has helped me find awesome new stuff too!

My best friend wears by Bobbi Brown and in an attempt to get some really great foundation, I decided to get color matched and try it out. Well, its aaaaamazzingggg! The sales gal thought the Natural Finish Long Lasting foundation was perfect for me and she was right. Its so light weight and feels like you're wearing nothing. And I don't have to reapply until after work (if I've got plans past 5pm) which is nice. Applying the make up with a brush was also a genius idea by Bobbi because it covers better and evenly. I am in love! Haha

My second purchase was a little something for my eyes. I bought Buxom Mascara ($18) & their Inner Eyeliner ($14).  My friend Carly over at Little Burdie introduced me to the Buxom brand and I was instantly intrigued. I must admit, I've always been jealous of her eyes because a) they always look amazing & b) mascara is all she wears and she looks flawless!
Anyways, Sephora had the mascara and I was excited, but the sales gal said the eyeliner was the perfect pair so I bought both and I am so glad I did! The fine brushes on the mascara make it so much harder to clump up and really thicken my lashes. 2 coats & I'm good to go! And the eyeliner is on all day & I never have to touch up!

These items are definitely some of my 'best buys'. I am hooked and have used them everyday since purchasing!
I highly suggest trying any or all of these because they're awesome!!

Party Like a Rockstar

Have you ever wanted to have the most glamorous birthday, regardless of the cost? Well Michelle over at A Little Bit of This & That did a link up for just that idea!  You all should join in too!

My birthday is October 5 but I was supposed to be born 9 days earlier on September 26. Even though by birthday is in October, I don't like October. I think October is a weird name [especially since it begins with O] and would have preferred to be born in September, but my personality tells me I would have dreaded it and wanted to be different and born in October! 

Ok, so my birth stone is an Opal and my horoscope sign is a Libra.

I would go on a cruise around the Greek Isles with my best friends! We'd lay out in the sun, see all the wonderful sights Greece has to offer and eat the best gyros in town! Haha
We'd be tan and fabulous, having the time of our lives!

Day 30!

Can't believe the 30 day challenge is over and I made it! Totally put myself out there for the world to read but it was fun getting to know the others who participated. Hope my readers out there enjoyed it too! 
 

Day 30: A picture of someone you miss

 I miss my ex.

There, I said it.

Ok, but before you go thinking I'm some lame girl who can't get over someone hear me out. I don't miss our relationship, I miss our friendship.

I've known this kid since kindergarten! We've been schoolmates ever since [with the exception of college] and friends always. We started dating my sophomore year of college and dated for 4 years. I totally thought I was going to marry him. 

Until I moved back home after school and we fought all the time and realized we were going in 2 separate directions. Of course it was the worst break-up I've ever had to go through, but everything happens for a reason. "Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." I'm stronger for it, and have learned so much about myself and what I'm looking for in a mate. But I truly miss him and wish him the best.

Opening Day!

I realize I'm a day late because the Brewers opening day was yesterday but I'm still so excited for baseball season!!!

I've already got tickets to 2 games and I can't wait to get my hands on some more!

I wish I was actually going to the home opening next week but its a Monday.

Doesn't the MLB know that if its on a Monday:

a) thats laaaaame

b) you have to take off work Monday AND Tuesday

c) seriously a Monday?!

Can't wait to see my boyfriend #8 too!
