Dirt Cake

The bf was craving a childhood favorite this past week so I decided to whip up a batch for him!

 Pretty sure I haven't had dirt cake since I was 8, but it still was crazy good!

& because I am just an amazing girl, I decided to make a few mini cups for his younger brothers & sisters who range in age from 10-2 

So the kids will be enjoying these today sometime since it was kind of late when we brought these over last night.

Sex & the City 3??

While getting ready this morning for work I heard on Good Morning America that there is talk of a Sex & the City 3!!! Now this is very exciting, however, there is a small twist. This will not be a sequel, rather a prequel. Meaning, the movie will follow Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda & Samantha as teenagers and early twenty-somethings living in NYC.

So who will be playing our beloved favorites in their younger days you ask??

Well I think the choices they've picked could make for an amazing flick:

 Blake Lively

Selena Gomez

Emma Roberts

Elizabeth Olsen

The movie is still in the "talking stages" and these actresses haven't officially been asked to fill the fabulous shoes of these ladies. None of the original cast members make an appearance in the film, but I still think it will be a movie I will want to go see!

 Little cheesecake filled strawberries!

Hull the berries {take out middle}, fill with no-bake cheesecake mix & top with crushed graham cracker. Chill in fridge for a few hrs.

I may attempt making these for the bf's cousin's grad party this weekend!

Its hump day & I couldn't be happier! This week has been exhausting - mainly because its been extremely hot here for Wisconsin. Our temps are in the 80°-90°s with heat indexes making it feel like 110-115°! Crazy hot!

{one} what is your dream job? If you had asked me this a year ago I would have told you something completely different, but my dream job is actually what I'm doing now - property management. I'm a leasing consultant.

{two} how many best friends do you have? I have 3 best friends, we're the fierce foursome. I don't know where I'd be without these lovely ladies! 

  {three} what’s the longest road trip you’ve ever taken?Driving from Wisconsin to Arizona to do Route 66..I was 12 & an only child so it was boring as hell.
{four} if you had to do one single thing every day for the next year, what would it be?Work out because I've been trying to lose weight and get healthy!
{five} what’s one story your family always tells about you?There's a ton of stories, but probably the one when we were going to pick up a puppy from a breeder and there was a girl there holding the last one. Her dad said she could have the dog but he said she had to wait to see what her mom said. Well I walked over to the girl and asked if I could hold the puppy. She gave him to me and then I said "Well, both my parents are here & they said I could have it so we're going to take him." That was mean, but I wanted a puppy!
{six} how did your parents pick your name?It was between Ashley and Abby. And my mom said that when I was born, I didn't look like an Abby so Ashley Rose it was :)
{seven} what’s the one thing that scares you more than anything?Snakes. Period.

{eight} are you a good cook?I think I am! I love cooking, especially for others, so I am excited to cook more for the new bf! 
{nine} where do you see yourself in 20 years?Married, with at least 2 kids loving life.   {ten} what’s your best childhood memory?Camping with my cousins during the summer. We used to ride our bikes, fish, swim. It was the best. Now we're older and don't see each other much and I miss them!
